LYELL RECK
Location: Sunshine Coast, QLD
Members: Lyell Reck (Solo)
Approved Bio:
Recently settling on the Sunshine Coast, Lyell brings with him a vibrant acoustic tone ideal for a relaxing Sunday session, casual dining experience or special celebration. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Neil Diamond, Pete Murray and Ed Sheeran, Lyell’s extensive repertoire covers everything from the 70’s through to today’s Top 40. Equally at home playing an intimate wedding venue or lively pub scene, Lyell will tailor his performance to fit the mood and energy of the venue.
Starting his musical journey playing the Pubs of Brisbane as part of the duo ‘Seven Shades of Grey’ in the early 2000’s Lyell then turned to playing solo gigs in regional Qld before heading over to the UK. After several years traveling and starting a family Lyell has recently rediscovered his passion for songwriting and performing. Now based on the Sunshine Coast he is looking to couple his desire to create with regular opportunities to entertain in the local community.
